The All Progressives Congress (APC), Taraba State chapter, has declared its readiness to win all elective positions in the 2027 general elections.

The state chairman of the party, Barrister Tukur El-Sudi, made this known on Saturday after the conduct of the ward and local government congresses.

According to El-Sudi, the rancour-free and successful affirmation of consensus candidates during the exercise is a clear indication of the party’s unity and preparedness ahead of the 2027 polls.

He attributed the development to what he described as the quality leadership and coordination of Governor Agbu Kefas, which he said has helped to reposition the APC in Taraba as a united and progressive family.

“The rancour-free consensus recorded in this exercise is a clear indication that APC is set for victory in Taraba in 2027.

“We now have a leader whose target is to ensure APC’s success. The affirmation of consensus candidates is due to the genuine understanding among party leaders and members, coordinated by Governor Kefas.

“Governor Kefas is truly a leader. He has united party members and we are set for victory in 2027,” El-Sudi said.

In his remarks, the chairman of the APC Congresses Committee, Pam Gyang Moses, expressed satisfaction with the conduct of the exercise.

He described the congresses as a demonstration of the party’s readiness to secure victory in all elections in Taraba State in 2027.

Nigerian Tribune gathered that the APC local government congresses were monitored by Pam Gyang Moses as chairman, Barrister Kanmi Adetunji as Screening Committee Chairman, and Mr Sunday Buga as Chairman of the Congress Appeal Committee.
